Windows Media Player for Mac is the media player designed by Microsoft for Mac`s users. It allows playing music and movies usually supported by Windows platform. 


Key Features

Supported formats: Windows Media Player for Mac is able to read all Microsoft video and audio format released before 2005. After this year, new types of Windows formats can be read using QuickTime or Flip4Mac. 

Play Mode: the software contains all standard items needed to read audio and video files. For instance, it contains Play, Pause and forward buttons. It is also possible to control the volume right from the interface. 

Interface: one of the particularities of Windows Media Player for Mac is that it provides an easy to use interface unlike its Windows version. That offsets the absence of a library or a playlist function for files managing.

Cons

Windows Media Player for Mac is restricted compared to the Windows version.
